Walk The Walk

To those who think that salvation is sure,
Once saved always saved is the truth clean and pure,
If you sit and wait and look to the clouds,
Awaiting the rapture righteous and proud,
Wake up to yourselves you fooled and you bound,
Read the Word properly, truths there to be found.

There’s more to your walk than prosperity and God’s peace,
Do you only give to receive the increase?
There’s more to God’s Spirit than a rest on the floor,
You’ve got gifts to use, don’t put off or ignore,
Go spread the Gospel, that’s your main task,
Get out of your comfort zone, throw out your mask.

Do you name it and claim it in Jesus high name,
Is your God given purpose real or a game,
Do the seeds of your Ministry fall on good ground?
Are there thorns in your church? Do weeds abound?
Get stuck in with a plough or a hoe,
Clean up your yard, the neatness will show.

If you talk the talk but live like a king,
Ask yourself “Would Jesus have done the same thing”?
How can Jesus be taught from a private lear jet?
You think the Sun’s hot? You aint seen nothing yet!
Remember that Jesus owned nothing at all,
Remember the sacrifice of Apostles like Paul.

If your bound by Religious tradition and family ties,
Your caught in a vicious circle, strengthened by lies,
God’s grace is a gift, reach out and take it,
Unfold that circle and gradually break it,
Don't listen to man made doctrines and rules,
They’re created by Biblically ignorant, arrogant fools.

If you think your good deeds and words will suffice,
My misguided friend you better think twice,
Only grace through faith will unite you with God,
Let him come upon you with mercy and not with a rod,
Though many have tried and many have failed,
The teachings of Jesus are clear and un-veiled.

So unblock your ears and clean out your eyes,
Cover your nakedness, don't get caught by surprise,
Start to walk true, it’s not too late,
But don't be left at the starting gate,
Charge in headlong, try to be a winner,
It’s better than being what you are. A SINNER!!!

AUTHORS NOTE:
Holding on to salvation is a hard thing friends. We cant just sit back and wait for the Lord to come so we no longer have to worry about anything. The Gospel of Christ must be followed to the best of our ability, no excuses and no cop-outs. The Great Commission must be carried out willingly by a grateful, humble people who are willing to forsake all worldly issues for their God. It’s time to wake up, smell the impending brimstone, ignore all the modern “popular” ideals and get back to Biblical basics.
